'Mock-on-Down' in Rotorua

Mocktails and Treasure Hunts are just two of the fun family activities being offered by the Novotel Rotorua Lakeside Hotel for families staying during the upcoming school holidays.

The winter cold days of the July school holidays mean children often opt for indoor activities for their amusement. 
 
“We have been working on developing a programme of activities for kids and adapting some of our facilities to cater for families as we lead up to the holidays”, says Director of Sales and Marketing, Andrea Richards.  “Families find the services and facilities of a hotel suit a winter holiday as they can keep warm and the kids can be amused indoors.”
 
The hotel has Nickelodeon in all the rooms as well as treasure hunts, competitions and specialty catering for the kids.
 
The 199 room hotel features an indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa and fitness studio.  Its location, opposite the Rotorua Lakefront, is particularly well suited for families as a number of Rotorua activity operators are based in this area.
