Sneak into Kelly Tarlton's these school holidays for "DEEP 'N DISGUISE" and play underwater detective tracking down the ocean's best masters of disguise.
For two weeks only during the July School Holidays kids can take part in fun, new, interactive activities, like the DEEP 'N DISGUISE trail, a cool quiz which winds its way through the exhibition. Answer the clues as you explore and be in to win a mammoth 'Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaur' prize pack. During special daily feedings in Fish Alley, the curators will expose some of the nearly 20 species hiding amongst the nooks and crannies, unveiling their clever disguises and sharing their secrets of underwater survival. The theme continues at the Aqua Cinema, where kids can chill out and watch free screenings of 'Spy Kids'. All holidays kids can have a go at disguising themselves by getting their faces painted. Plus between 10.30am and 2.30pm every day they can use their creative skills in Beach Art classes and learn to transform ordinary seaside objects like sand, shells and rocks into cool works of art. The exhibition is only on for two weeks over the school holidays so make sure you creep in quickly before it disappears. Normal admission prices apply: Adults NZ$29.90, Children 4-14 years NZ$15, Children 3 and under free. Family passes from NZ$50.90 for one adult and two children.
