NZ Lodge named amongst best in the world

There's just one New Zealand resort that ranks among the best in the world.

US publication Conde Nast Traveler magazine has just released its 2009 Readers' Choice Awards. Here you can see who 25,000 of the most discerning global travelers rank as the Best in the World.

Within the extensive lists of winners there is just one New Zealand property - Huka Lodge, Taupo.

Huka Lodge is ranked as No. 2 within the Top 20 Oceania Resorts, which comes as no suprise considering the property has been consistently ranked amongst the best in the world from 1984 onwards.

Since entrepreneur Alex van Heeren purchased Huka Lodge at this time, he has driven standards of excellence for the property that have seen it in the limelight internationally ever since.
