Conde Nast Readers Vote The George in to Top 20 Oceania Hotels

The George has been selected as one of Oceanias Top 20 Hotels in the 2009 Conde Nast Readers Choice Awards.

It is the only Christchurch hotel and one of only four New Zealand hotels to make this exclusive list.

Once again this accolade was made possible by guests who have actually experienced The George’s hospitality and rate it among the best in the world. Its passion to exceed guests’ expectations and provide a personal and memorable experience is key to its ongoing success.

This result echoes that of the 2009 Travel + Leisure World's Best Hotels Survey 2009 earlier this year in which The George was voted one of the top 20 City Hotels in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Having completed its room refurbishment in September 2009 The George looks forward to welcoming its guests to a new level of comfort as well as continuing to provide a personalised stay and attentive service, a signature of The George’s hospitality.
