Come Monday morning there's always someone who's just had an amazing travel experience, so we've decided to share them with you.
As our van arrived in the Cameron Highlands we all breathed a sigh of relief. After several days in Penang's heat and humidity it was great to take a break in the 'cold' of this hilly area - a chilly 28 degrees....
I was once a humble traveller, content to stay in the merest of backpackers' hostels. Grotty shared showers and dorm rooms of 20 people didn't faze me. But Malaysia has spoiled me......
It was already a warm morning when we pushed through the beaded curtain and entered the enclosure at Penang Butterfly Farm, the world's first tropical butterfly sanctuary. Inside it was like a sauna - real rainforest temperatures - but it was beautiful....
If there's one thing Malaysians care about as much as their food, it's their religion. Although it's a Muslim country, its citizens are free to practice whatever they like, and with so many cultures all jammed in together it seemed like...
