Overview
Wind your way along the mighty Derwent River, past vineyards, hop fields and oast houses, to the historic town of New Norfolk and nearby Salmon Ponds. In this region, heritage meets the present in a seamless blend, where history is lived each day on original farms and hop estates, in colonial buildings, and even an historic golf course. Beyond the towering Russell Falls at Mt Field National Park and the historic village of Hamilton is Lake St Clair, where coves and pebbly beaches welcome weary bushwalkers at the end of the Overland Track.
